Want to learn? I love to teach! My first job was at the original Catch in Anaheim, sweeping floors and prepping food. At age 17 I moved to Sacramento for three years to play goalie for the Sacramento Thunders amateur hockey team and cooked in great restaurants when I wasn't traveling. After realizing my true passion was cooking I dedicated my life fully to the craft and worked for Sacramento's famed restaurant The Waterboy - working with Rick Mahan a local celebrity chef. After that I also worked for Michelin starred Chef Mark Sullivan at Spruce in San Francisco and, helped friend and rising star Chef Justin Simoneaux open a Cajun inspired restaurant named The Boxing Room. While I was a Sous Chef for famed Napa Chef Thomas Keller I worked with the Chef creating daily menus inspired by working with a different product every single day. Now back at The Catch, I thrive on the challenge of exploring new techniques and methods, and investigating different styles of cooking.
